These waffles have deep pockets that can hold lots of syrup. This waffle mix is is light, airy & fluffy and best served with blueberries or strawberries or just with your favorite syrup (Maple/ butter)

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 ¾ cups milk

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp sugar/ honey

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Preheat waffle iron
  • Beat eggs in a large bowl until fluffy. Add in the flour, milk, olive oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla until smooth
  • Preheat the waffle iron & spray with non-stick cooking spray or add butter
  • Pour the mix onto hot waffle iron
  • Cook until golden brown
  • Serve hot & with butter syrup/ maple syrup or honey

PRO TIP

  • To make blueberry waffles, add some fresh blueberries to the mix and cook until golden brown. This tastes best with warm melted butter
