minutesThese waffles have deep pockets that can hold lots of syrup. This waffle mix is is light, airy & fluffy and best served with blueberries or strawberries or just with your favorite syrup (Maple/ butter)
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¾ cups milk
½ cup olive oil
1 tbsp sugar/ honey
4 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat waffle iron
- Beat eggs in a large bowl until fluffy. Add in the flour, milk, olive oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla until smooth
- Preheat the waffle iron & spray with non-stick cooking spray or add butter
- Pour the mix onto hot waffle iron
- Cook until golden brown
- Serve hot & with butter syrup/ maple syrup or honey
PRO TIP
- To make blueberry waffles, add some fresh blueberries to the mix and cook until golden brown. This tastes best with warm melted butter
