INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pouch/packet pasta, such as rigatoni or penne
  • 1 jar (28 ounces) red pasta sauce or you can make your own pasta sauce
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

PROCEDURE

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  • Cook your pasta according to the directions on the package. Drain and set aside
  • In a large skillet, brown the garlic and onion. After this has sautéed then add the ground chicken and cook for 7-8 minutes over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in the pasta sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • In a greased baking dish, layer the meat sauce and cooked pasta
  • Top this with your shredded cheese blend
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly
